Une interview de Joaquin «El Chapo» Guzman, menée à la fin de l’année dernière par l’acteur Sean Penn, a contribué à la capture du narcotrafiquant le plus recherché au monde, arrêté vendredi, après une évasion spectaculaire en juillet et plusieurs mois de cavale.

Sean Penn indique qu’«El Chapo» Guzman, 58 ans, l’a accueilli en octobre dernier dans un lieu isolé de la jungle par un «compadre» (compagnon) et une grande accolade. La rencontre a duré sept heures et a été suivie de plusieurs interviews par téléphone ou vidéo. L’ensemble, ponctué de vidéos où l’on voit le baron de la drogue, vêtu d’une chemise aux couleurs vives et d’un couvre-chef, évoluer dans un environnement rural, a été publié samedi soir par le magazine «Rolling Stone».
